Flip is the creation of Gary Cole.

Like Gary, Flip is a passionate fundraising professional committed to helping create a better society. Flip enjoys life and (in his own dry and sarcastic way) pokes fun at nonsensical behavior while doing his best to help others laugh and learn.

Dr. Gary Cole, CFRE, is a veteran fundraising professional who, like Flip, is committed to his profession and helping others create a better society through philanthropy. With 20 years of service to the nonprofit sector, Gary has experienced just about every bizarre and /or uplifting scenario one can expect as a professional fundraiser. With a Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, a Masters degree in Philanthropy and Development, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (with an emphasis on the NonProfit Sector), Gary brings unique professional and academic experience to Flip’s World.

History (Fictional Story-Line)

Flip is a fundraising professional. Alongside his friend and new co-worker Ron, Flip  struggles with the daily frustrations in which most in the nonprofit sector confront on a daily basis. Flip is an observer and philosopher, but seems particularly receptive to nonsensical behavior that plays out before him each and every day. He loves to teach, play practical jokes, and support his co-workers around him. Paradoxically, he loves his alone time, detests people who park in front of his house, and is easily agitated by those who display a lack of common sense.
